Prediction 1:

Well, you must have watched the movie by the name Contagion which starred Matt Demon, Jude Law, Laurence Fishborne, Gwyneth Paltro, Kate Winslet released in the year 2011. To give you a brief glimpse of this historic movie, this movie centered around a deadly virus that starts in Hong-Kong and grapples the entire world in no time. The rate at which the virus is shown to spread is almost 2 times the initially infected people. The movie involves team of doctors from CDC; WHO to figure out the cause, source and cure of the deadly virus and to figure out is there any way someone could weaponize the bird flu??? In one of the scenes, Laurence is said to have said, Some one doesn’t have to weaponize the bird flu, the birds are doing that!!!

Similarity with Covid-19??

Well, the deadly virus shown is very similar in characteristics the way it spreads so fast, very few people are immune to it, starts from the birds (although COVID-19 still has many conspiracy theories revolving around with most potent being its origination from bats), there is no known vaccination to cure it and the whole world faces the pandemic!!! Prediction 2:

How many of you have heard about the Author, Sylvia Browne. Well, she became quite famous for her prediction in her 2008 book End of Days referred to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic (she claimed “a severe pneumonia-like illness” would spread “around” 2020). To go by what is mentioned in her book, it says,

In around 2020, a severe pneumonia like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all treatments. Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely.

Well, she was known to be a woman with mild psychic abilities in her life and died at the age of 77 in the year 2013.

Prediction 3:

Bill Gates, in his TED Talks speech in the year 2015 not only mentioned the reel world of Hollywood discussing movies like Contagion mentioned above, but also alerted the audience and world at large to be ready before the mother nature strikes up hard with next pandemic!!! He directed that the concerted focus of the Governments, organisations world over need to be towards strengthening health systems particularly in poor countries, to have abundant reserves of medical corps and to pair them with military to act fast and also run simulations on Germ games instead of war games in addition to the ongoing R&D. He clearly mentions that time is not on our side and if we start now, we can be ready for the next epidemic!!!

Well, I agree that though Bill Gates didn’t specifically make a prediction regarding CONVID-19, he however did mention about the impending catastrophe that humanity would have to face in times to come, not a real war, not a financial war but a bio-war!!!

Prediction 4:

There is another book in the year 1981 by Dean Koontz by the name Eyes of Darkness which talks about similar prediction similar to Coronavirus pandemic and the most bizarre part is it mentions its name as Wuhan-400 in its book with originating source as Chinese. Prediction 5:

There’s another research paper which predicted the occurrence of SARS-COV reemergence in the year 2007 and said:

The presence of a large reservoir of SARS-CoV-like viruses in horseshoe bats, together with the culture of eating exotic mammals in southern China, is a time bomb. The possibility of the reemergence of SARS and other novel viruses from animals or laboratories and therefore the need for preparedness should not be ignored.

Well, one may say what good are the predictions??? Said part is humanity never learns from history. No matter what we’ve experienced in the past, we always tend to forget our wrong-doings and do not try to mend them for betterment of our future. It’s high time we, make a collective effort towards creating a better future by not needing to rely on psychics or their predictions but by taking proactive steps in order to create a world for future generations!!!

One easiest way to realize this is by understanding the analogy while driving when our side mirror states that objects in the mirror appear closer then they are! In life, when we are marching ahead in life, if we are not protective towards our ecosystem, the objects (destruction) in the mirror (life) are in reality closer than what we perceive!!!
